Preamble
It represents an evolution of hospital equipment in the suspended
version specifically made for intensive care.
It is made up of a basic component available
with either a single or double beam and equipped with vertical
components for ceiling suspension and channelling of electric
and medical gas circuits.
The appliance allows maximum flexibility
of the various parts and components due to the different forms
that can be obtained in terms of accessories and size as well
as terms of installation and maintenance.
Description of the system
The "Intensive care" bed head model consists
off several components and a range of accessories that combined
together yield three different versions of the product:
Suspended single beam
Suspended double beam
Wall beam
The system is made up of:
A. BEAM BODY
B. GAS CONDUCT
C. VERTICAL COLUMNS
Beam body
It is made of extruded aluminium painted with epoxy powders.
This component has been designed so as to be used either with
a single face (electric system only on one side) or a double
face (electric system on two sides). It is equipped with a
front closing cover characterized by a coloured profile covering
the rail that can be electrified by using very low voltage
(12v - 25v). Channels are also provided for the circulation
of weak currents.
The cover made of extruded aluminium painted with epoxy powders
is designed to allow the installation of electric sockets,
equipotent connectors, sound diffusion and paramedical call
systems and monitoring systems.
On the lower part of the body a stainless steel (25x10 or
30x10) instrument-bearing rod can be installed and made to
size according to the length of the appliance . It is connected
to the body by means of metal supports.
Gas Circuit
The medical gas conduit system is fitted in a separate
compartment, phisically isolated from the electric compartment
and placed on the lower part of the body. It also includes
special goniometric brackets designed to simplify assembly
and positioning of gas outlets of any kind.
Vertical columns
These components are made of extruded
aluminium painted with a first coating and then finished with
epoxy powders. Such columns are meant for both electrical
and gas channeling. Each column is equipped with a front closing
cover characterized by a coloured profile covering the rail
that can be electrified by a very low voltage (12v - 25v).
The columns can be installed both sideways or over the main
body.
Supports may be installed on the lower part to allow the possible
application of suspended structures (shelves / drawers). The
columns are fixed to the ceiling by means of a set of plates,
counter plates and threaded rods included in the equipment.
